Thetis at the "InnovAction" event in Udine

Thetis will be hosted at the Veneto Innovazione stand in the “Ricerche e Tecnologie" section, at "INNOVACTION" in Udine from 9 to 11 February 2006. The event is being staged by the University of Udine, in team with Udine Fiere Spa, and will be an important international meeting place for the demand and supply of innovation and technology.
Thetis at Mito e Velocità in Moscow

Thetis will be at the Mito e Velocità (Legend and Speed) Exhibition in Moscow from 27 January to 12 February 2006, as part of the Italy-China Environmental Cooperation Programme which is being organised by the Italian Ministry of the Environment. The aim of the programme is to create pilot projects and feasibility studies for the protection and conservation of natural resources as well as in the fields of efficient energy, renewable energy sources, technologies, low-emission transport systems, “sustainable” agriculture and environmental training. Thetis will be at the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Territory stand with its own space dedicated to the ITS-TAP (Intelligent Transport Systems for Traffic Air Pollution) project for Beijing.

Thetis is sponsoring the “International Conference on Security in Ports and Large Infrastructures” to be held on 26 - 27 January 2006 at Ca’ Mocenigo Gambara in Venice, which is being organised by the Venice Port Authority and Teleporto Adriatico. The appointment aims to be a forum on safety issues in ports and large infrastructures, and will also be an opportunity to analyse scenarios and a number of case studies. Reyer is a Venetian sports organisation, founded in 1872 by Costantino Reyer. Today, it is once again one of the top basketball teams in Veneto. Its aim is not only to train players to score as many baskets as possible, but also to promote basketball and revive a sporting past which has never been forgotten.
Thetis awarded EMAS certification

On 15th December 2005 Thetis obtained certification attesting to its compliance with community regulation (EC) n. 761/ 01 (EMAS, registration number I 000405).
EMAS certification is awarded to organisations who demonstrate a real commitment to environmental improvement and intend to provide the other parties concerned, the control authorities and the citizens with a tool for evaluating the efficiency and environmental effectiveness of the organisation in question.
EMAS certifications represent high-credibility promotional tools since both the EMAS registration and the Eco-Label are granted by a public body, the Eco-labelling Board Ecoaudit agency (set up by the Italian Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory). To perform the functions assigned to it, the agency makes use, in its turn, of the technical support made available to it by Italian environmental control agencies APAT and ARPA.
