Thetis has passed the 1st stage of the International Design Competition of Mestre motorway tunnel

Thetis, in a temporary association of companies with Studio Camerino, has qualified as one of the top three competitors of the "Concorso Internazionale di progettazione dell’ANAS - Il tunnel, il ponte e la storia” (ANAS International Design Competition - The tunnel, the bridge, the history) in the sector relative to the “Progettazione architettonica ed ambientale delle aree interessate dall’ingresso e dall’uscita del nuovo tunnel autostradale di Mestre” (Architectural and Environmental design of the areas near the entrance and exit to the new Mestre motorway tunnel). Thetis is now through to the second stage of the competition involving the preliminary drawings for the works.
Spazio Thetis - "Borders as bridges: Jerusalem at the Arsenale" exhibition

Meeting, mixing, comparing, innovating, future can all come from a border. This is what the impressive exhibition entitled "Sacred and Imperial Cities of the Ottoman Empire: Fresh Discoveries" aims to illustrate. Promoted by the Department of Eurasian Studies at Ca' Foscari University in collaboration with Thetis S.p.A., it has been sponsored by both Venice Town Council and the Turkish Consulate.
Executive project for the recovery of the northern banks of Venice Arsenale approved

On 23rd September 2005, the Technical Committee of the Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia (Venice Water Board) approved the executive project drawn up by Thetis SpA for the first extract of the “Work to recover the northern banks of Venice Arsenale along the Fondamenta Nuove canal between Celestia and Casermette”.
In July of this year, the same Technical Committee approved Thetis’ executive project for the “Work for securing the banks of Novissima no. [96, 97, 98], 99, 100, 107, 108, 109, 112, 113 (1st executive extract)”.
Thetis to draw up report about the state of the Venetian lagoon ecosystem

The DPSIR-2005 project has been launched. On behalf of the Magistrato alle Acque di Venezia (Venice Water Board), the Consorzio Venezia Nuova (New Venice Consortium) has commissioned Thetis to draw up the report about the state of the Venetian lagoon system. Said report will update (to 2005) the knowledge of the lagoon Thetis drew up in the year 2000 within the sphere of the “Orizzonte 2023” project.
Rijeka Gateway Project: project for the VTMIS system

Rijeka Port Authorities have awarded Thetis the contract for drafting the project and tender documents for VTMIS - the Vessel Traffic Management Information System. VTMIS is part of the “Rijeka Gateway Project” programme, financed by the World Bank, providing for considerable renovation work on the port. The aim of this work is to increase the competitiveness of the Croatian transportation system.
The VTMIS system will make it possible to increase levels of navigational safety in the bay of Rijeka and the region of Kvarner, while at the same time improving the efficiency of the port structures and reducing the risk of accidents, with consequent effects on the marine environment. The system comprises two highly sensitive radar units, remote controlled telecameras, radio-transponders and an operations centre which is to be installed in the new Port Authorities control room.
