Thetis SpA’s environmental laboratory has been listed in "Unificazione & Certificazione" magazine

The “Speciale Accreditamento” (Accreditation Special) supplement of technical standards and certification monthly “Unificazione & Certificazione” (Unification & Certification) and official UNI, CEI, SINAL, SINCERT and CNIM body issue no. 10-2004, contains a complete list of accredited Italian test laboratories and calibration centres. Thetis’ environmental laboratory has been listed as no. 0366, Category 0.
TTS Italy (Telematica Trasporti Sicurezza) will be at Transpotec 2005

TTS Italia - which counts Thetis SpA among its members - will be at Transpotec, the Salone delle Tecnologie e Trasporti su Strada (Exhibition for Technology and Transport on the Road) with its own stand. The exhibition will be held at the Fiera di Parma from the 18th to 20th February 2005, and its aim is to promote the work of those of its members involved in managing ships used for both goods and public transport, as well as logistics and coordinated, multi-modal means of transport.
The Cini Foundation has awarded the contract for consultancy and technical-administrative assistance

The Giorgio Cini Foundation organised a tender calling for companies providing management consultancy services and technical-administrative assistance for the general plan for the reorganisation of buildings and land on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore - Venice. Said tender was organised in conformity with Legislative Decree no. 157/95, under restricted procedure, and the Giorgio Cini Foundation announced it has been awarded to the group of companies comprising Thetis S.p.A., STEAM s.r.l. and TECNOCONSULT s.r.l.

Thetis SpA has obtained the new UNI EN ISO 14001:1996 Quality Certificate

In December 2004, Thetis obtained the Quality Certificate according to UNI EN ISO 14001:1996 Standards.
This means Thetis has put into practice and manages to uphold an environmental management system which conforms to the above-mentioned standard. This refers to those activities pertaining to “Studies, projects, production and maintenance of technological systems and equipment, system integration, technical services, and operative and laboratory activities within the sphere of environmental and civil engineering and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)”.

Thetis at the "3rd International Conference on Remediation of Contaminated Sediments" (New Orleans)

Thetis will be at the “Third International Conference on Remediation of Contaminated Sediments” New Orleans, Louisiana (U.S.A.) from 24th to 27th January 2005 to present a poster entitled “Sediment screening risk in Venice Lagoon and other coastal ecosystems” Parts I and Part II. The work was prepared by Sabine E. Apitz - SEA Environmental Decisions; Anna Carlin, Martina Bocci and Andrea Barbanti - Thetis SpA; Alberto Giulio Bernstein and Laura Montobbio - Consorzio Venezia Nuova, and summarises a part of the results of Activity A of the ICSEL study.
The aim of said study is to assess the effects of water and sediment pollution on the ecosystem, using the traditional chemical methods integrated with biological assessment methods to do so.
