Green building and energy savings: Thetis’ work in Pesaro
Thetis has entered into an agreement with Pesaro-based Società Greenenergy S.r.l. to perform activities associated with the construction of a residential care complex at Villa Fastiggi.
The project will involve the use of green building and energy savings techniques and technologies.
In a contract signed in September 2010, Thetis has agreed to analyze the potential for using the renewable energy sources available at the site, analyze the complex's energy needs, determine the best technical and economic solutions by drafting an Economic and Financial Plan for the project, design the building services and assist with construction supervision for the residential care facility for the elderly.
As the Civil Engineering Division and Energy Division of Thetis will be collaborating to fulfil the objectives defined in the contract, the company’s ability to ensure ongoing coordination of in-house work groups from different fields and divisions is essential in this project.
The main services that Thetis has been contracted to provide are:
- Methodological analysis of the potential for using renewable energy sources available on site;
- Optimization of the architectural solutions in terms of energy efficiency and eco-sustainability;
- Dynamic energy analysis for the buildings
- Determination of the best building services solutions from both a technological and economic viewpoint;
- Drafting the Economic and Financial Plan for said building services;
- Final plans for the systems;
- Assistance with obtaining authorizations for the project from the competent authorities and bodies.
