Culture_Nature: Final convention
Culture_Nature is a collateral event of the 12th International Architecture Exhibition - Venice Biennale.
Thetis has partnered in this event, which will conclude with the “Green Ethics Habitat: The Role of Government Agencies” conference, held at 15:00 on Thursday 11 November at Spazio Thetis. The curators of Culture_Nature, Fortunato D'Amico and Alessandra Coppa, organized a successful series of conferences held on 30 August (Music and Architecture), 1 October (Landscapes and Waterways), 8 October (Clients and Architects), 14 October (sponsorship of Thinking Green, Building Leed), 15 October (International Expos and Events), 21 October (Culture_Nature_Architecture), 4 November (Culture_Nature_Art) and 11 November (Green Ethics Habitat). These events brought important government representatives to Thetis (including Roberto Ciambetti, Councillor for the Regional Budget and Local Government Agencies for the Veneto Region, Roberto Panciera, Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Paruzzolo, Councillor for Production Activities for the City of Venice, the Hon. Laura Fincato, Deputy Chairperson of Comitato Expo Venezia and Deputy Mayor of Venice for High-profile Events, Adriano Gasperi and Roberto Schmid, Secretary and President of the Scientific Committee of EXPO Milano 2015 S.p.A., Luca Bona, Vice President of Novara Province, and Benjamin Wohlauer, Director of Economic and Commercial Affairs for the U.S. Consulate in Milan), along with world famous architects (including Andreas Kipar, Mario Botta and Mauricio Cardenas), important architects exhibiting at the Biennale, artists, important figures and opinion leaders from the world of architecture and art (including Philippe Daverio and Luca Molinari), as well as national, local and specialist press (including Il Sole 24 Ore, l'ARCA and Ofarch).
Businesses also participated, providing essential contributions to the dialogue on contemporary habitat, environmental sustainability and projects. Thetis took this opportunity to promote sustainability, highlighting the important role that Venice can play in this area due to its extensive experience.
