New Low-Cost Oceanography and Marine Monitoring Technologies
At 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, 15 April, in the Modelli Conference Room at the Venice Arsenal, Prof. Marco Marcelli, Biological Oceanography professor at the University of Tuscia, will hold a seminar entitled “New Low-Cost Oceanography and Marine Monitoring Technologies”.
• The development of new technologies in response to a need for monitoring oceanographic phenomena and processes at different spatial and temporal scales;
• The development and testing of new low-cost technologies for in-situ measurement of fluorescence;
• The potential applications of new modular technologies in networks and monitoring systems.
During the seminar, which is open to all, Prof. Marcelli will discuss the following topics:
• The development of new technologies in response to a need for monitoring oceanographic phenomena and processes at different spatial and temporal scales;
• The development and testing of new low-cost technologies for in-situ measurement of fluorescence;
• The potential applications of new modular technologies in networks and monitoring systems.
