Thetis - knowledge for a better environment

The Venice Port Authority and the Customs Agency recently signed an agreement to implement the LogIS telematic system. This system enables the exchange of information, relating to merchandise in transit in the port, among the various operators involved in the exportation and importation of merchandise through the Port of Venice (clearing agents, shipping companies, ship's agents, terminal operators) and between these operators and public entities, most importantly the Customs Agency. The telematic system was created for the company Nethun, which works for the Venice Port Authority, by Thetis SpA, which initiated a specific project within the Knowledge Systems Engineering Division (DICO) to produce this system.
