Climate: first report for European Environment Agency published

The Topic Centre on Climate Change impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation (ETC/CCA) of the European Environment Agency (EEA), run for the three year period 2011-2013 by an international consortium of research bodies including Thetis, has published its first technical report, "Methods for assessing coastal vulnerability to climate change".

The Report is the end result of work carried out in 2011, coordinated by Emiliano Ramieri who is head of the Territorial Engineering Unit at Thetis and also the main author. The report analyses the principal methods available in the literature for assessing coastal vulnerability and evaluates their application at European level with view to backing up the EEA’s reporting and assessment activities. The technical report is downloadable from the ETC/CCA site.
