Thetis to present the Certosa Park Project at Geo-Oikos, held at the Fiera di Verona on 18-19 Nov.
A preview of the redevelopment project for Certosa Island in Venice will be presented at the Geo-Oikos trade fair in Verona on 18-19 November 2010.
Geo-Oikos is the most important showcase for projects in the region. Promoted by the Veneto Region, it attracts representatives from public and private organizations involved in urban and regional planning, architecture, large-scale infrastructure, environment, nature and energy.
The project details and the technical solutions conceived by architect Tobia Scarpa, Thetis SpA and Vento di Venezia will be presented to the public for the first time with the aid of a multimedia installation.

In addition, on Thursday 18 November, the fair’s opening day, a conference entitled “Certosa Park, Venice: Nature and Technology for the Rebirth of the Island” will be held at 14:00 in the Mozart Room. Speakers will include architect Tobia Scarpa, Alberto Sonino, director of Vento di Venezia, Andrea Bondì of Thetis Spa, Prof. Lorenzo Bonometto and architect Giorgio Pilla.
