Thetis: "proof” of innovation and knowledge management
The "Nuova economia postindustriale, sostenibilità e innova@zione" (New post-industrial economy, sustainability and innova@tion”) workshop is to be held on Tuesday, 10th November 2009 at 9.30a.m. at Unioncamere Veneto - VEGA (Marghera).
Giannadrea Mencini, from the Knowledge Systems Division will speak during the third afternoon session devoted to "Riconversione industriale: il caso Venezia" (Industrial Reorganisation: the Venice files).
Mr Mencini’s presentation shall focus on the importance of knowledge management in companies.
The event, organised by the Venti di Cultura association in cooperation with Unioncamere Veneto, has been acknowledged by CNI UNESCO and is sponsored by local Italian organisations, in conjunction with a number of Venetian companies.
The aims of the workshop are to strengthen sustainable policies and investments steered towards the new economy of post-industrial towns and cities, as well as developing experiences and projects aimed at recovering the Italian industrial heritage.
