Thetis - knowledge for a better environment

A team of experts Thetis and Net Engineering a company involved in civil engineering and infrastructure, will assist the Municipality of Tbilisi (Georgia) in the definition of guidelines for the urban plan of sustainable mobility. With the support of OICE, the organization of Italian engineering and consulting company committed to supporting the internationalization of enterprises, Thetis and Net Engineering intercepted the need of the City of Tbilisi (Georgia) to develop guidelines for the plan urban sustainable mobility using Italian experts in the field of planning and ITS technologies for mobility. The team of experts Thetis and Net Engineering will work closely with the engineers of the transportation division of the City of Tbilisi, concerned to know and use patterns of transport and technological solutions that make reference to best practices. OICE, has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economic Development which supports the missions of Italian experts in third countries for the realization of feasibility studies for infrastructure. The geographical area of the funding program in 2009 included Africa, Asia and the Mediterranean. The work plan for 2010, is divided into three missions in Tbilisi in February, March and April that have the dual aim of developing activities under the project and to generate synergies and future opportunities. The project was enabled through the collaboration of the following business functions: European project-office in Brussels and the ITS division.
