Thetis at the Monza Racetrack for Corrente in Movimento
On Friday, 27 May, Thetis attended the ARIA NUOVA Fair at the Monza National Racetrack for the Corrente in Movimento 2011 Tour of Italy by Electric Car, a CO2 emission-free journey highlighting Italian excellence in the field of renewable energy sources.
The tour, featuring entirely electric vehicles, will travel the length of Italy, from the north to the south. In each of the cities where the tour stops, an informational booth will be set up to provide the public with information on the use of renewable energy sources, as well as energy efficiency and good practices for sustainable mobility.
Several exponents from the field of electric mobility will illustrate the benefits of and outlook for energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. Thetis will be represented by Luca Masnata, Director of the ITS and Integrated Systems Division, and Dr. Riccardo Hofmann from the External Relations Office, who will present work conducted in this specific sector. The presentation is entitled: “Software and Hardware Systems for Optimizing Vehicular Traffic and Electric Mobility”.
