Thetis works with ARPA to assess the state of the Grado and Marano lagoons
Over the past few years, Thetis’ Environmental Laboratory has been working with ARPA Friuli Venezia Giulia on monitoring projects, conducting ecotoxicological evaluations of marine and lagoon sediments.
This collaboration will continue, with the laboratory performing a battery of three ecotoxicological assays on a large number of samples taken from three different locations in the Marano and Grado lagoons.
As a result of conducting several recently-developed ecotoxicological assays for this project, the Environmental Laboratory has become a national leader in the field, receiving work from both private companies (engineering companies, laboratories) and public bodies (ARPA, ISMAR, ISPRA).
