Thetis and VdV win the “Sea Heritage Campaign Award”

The communication campaign for Certosa Park, developed by Vento di Venezia in collaboration with Thetis, won the second annual Sea Heritage Best Communication Campaign Award, an international prize for communication strategies and activities used to support scientific, technological, cultural and artistic projects relating to marine heritage.

The Big Blu Boat and Sea Expo in Rome, which was held from Saturday 19 February to Sunday 27 February, featured a section devoted to communication called the Sea Heritage Exhibition.
The prize for the “Historical, Underwater and Intangible Assets” category, promoted by the Pelagos Association, was awarded to VdV and Thetis for the high-quality, comprehensive communication tools they developed to promote the ongoing Certosa Island redevelopment project. Initiated in August 2010, the Certosa Island communication campaign promotes the rediscovery of the island, which has been inaccessible to Venetians, as well as Italian and international tourists, for centuries. Moreover, the campaign provides information about the island to potential business partners that may be interested in taking part in the integrated system of educational, tourism, social and cultural activities that the project anticipates.
