Thetis joins the GBC Italia Steering Committee
Through the recent election of Mauro Roglieri, Director of the Integrated Energy Services Division, Thetis has joined the Steering Committee of Green Building Council Italia, an association that supports sustainable building in Italy.
After a successful national launch of the LEED protocol at Thetis' headquarters in the Venice Arsenal this past October, which attracted 250 guests from across Italy, Thetis reaffirms its commitment to promoting sustainable building.
“In addition to environmental and energy sustainability, GBC promotes economic and social sustainability, as well as the health of those who live and work in the buildings. Our company offers the advantage of having a clear understanding of the international policy framework and energy and climate policies, as well as specialized technical knowledge. With the GBC members’ assent, we will be able to do great work with the other Steering Committee members and the President.”
The Steering Committee elections, in which Mauro Roglieri received 152 votes from GBC Italia members, were held on Tuesday, 15 February at the National Headquarters in Rovereto.
