Thetis exported its expertise to India

Thetis has visited India to share its environmental and water remediation expertise and explore new business opportunities. Thetis’ Fabio Pinton has two important objectives while in India: to present a report at the "Ganga River Basin Management Plan” workshop and to take part in an economic mission organized by the Veneto Chambers of Commerce's Foreign Trade Centre and the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai.
In order to accomplish these two objectives – one technical and the other promotional in nature – the trip will be divided into two parts.

Pinton has been in Delhi on 22-23 for a workshop sponsored by the Indian Ministry of the Environment and Forests and organized by the Indian Institute of Technology. The purpose of the event was to identify and formulate solutions that will provide a basis for developing a remediation plan for the Ganges (Ganga) River.
The workshop offerered an opportunity for Thetis to promote its experience in managing environmental projects. As this experience was gained in a delicate and unique environment – the Venice Lagoon – it can easily be applied to other regions of the world. Pinton’s presentation is entitled "Restoring environmental balance in the Venice Lagoon: remediation, protection and measures to restore the drainage basin”.
The second part of the trip will focus on an economic mission to promote Italian businesses. Pinton has participated in a series of meetings with Indian businesses and organizations that may be in need of the services and solutions that the company has to offer. In addition, Pinton will participate in round table discussions and meetings to explore potential opportunities for economic collaboration. These activities will take Pinton to Mumbai and Pune.
