Thetis to participate in a meeting with the CEO of ITS Russia organized by TTS Italia
Thetis, represented by Director of the ITS Division Luca Masnata, and other members of TTS Italia has been in Rome on 14 September to meet the CEO of ITS Russia, Vladimir Kryuchkov. The meeting was organized by the STADIUM Project, which features Thetis as a leading technological partner.
The meeting at the TTS Italia headquarters is intended to promote a productive exchange of information and knowledge regarding traffic management during large events. Russia will in fact be hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 World Cup. As a large influx of people is expected for both events, Thetis will have an opportunity to showcase its capabilities and competence in the sector. STADIUM (Smart Transport Applications Designed for Large Events with Impacts on Urban Mobility) was created by 17 partners in response to a European call for proposals for managing transport during large events. The project is co-financed by the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development under the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research.
