Thetis Participates in the "CIEPEC - China International Environmental Protection Exhibition
For the third time, Thetis participated, with its own space inside the Italian Pavilion, in the event “CIEPEC - China International Environmental Protection Exhibition & Conference”, the most important Chinese event in the sector; this biannual event was held from 3-6 June, 2009, at the “CIEC – China International Exhibition Centre” in Beijing.
The slogan “Economy, Ecology, Energy” aptly summarizes Beijing’s current policies, which view the harmonization of these three components as the key to resolving the problems of modernization. Specifically, the ecological problems associated with China’s heretofore unregulated substantial economic growth are having such an impact that their resolution has become one of the Chinese government’s main objectives. While these are important problems, they also represent significant opportunities for Thetis, which can offer China its know-how and innovative, cutting-edge solutions for both the environmental and sustainable development sectors. The Italian Pavilion, dedicated to presenting Italian environmental technology, was financed entirely by the Ministry of the Environment and Territory and organized by the Italian National Institute for Foreign Trade.
