Thetis presents a poster at PRIMO
The primary objective of the 16th PRIMO: International Symposium on Pollutant Responses in Marine Organisms was to promote high-level scientific discussions and create an opportunity for an exchange of ideas between experts and young researchers in the field of aquatic ecosystem pollution. The poster presented at the symposium summarized research conducted by Cristina Nasci, Fabrizio Perin and Alessio Gomierio from Thetis, along with Prof. Viarengo from the University of Eastern Piedmont and Dr. Gianna Fabi from ISMAR (Institute of Marine Sciences) in Ancona. Specifically, the poster focused on the application of the “expert system” in several studies that Thetis conducted on ENI natural gas platforms in the Adriatic. The expert system is a model that integrates ecotoxicological data from different levels of biological organization, creating a concise index that indicates the organisms’ general state of health.
