Thetis - knowledge for a better environment

Thetis’ Knowledge Systems Engineering Division has recently delivered to the Venice Port Authority a software module to manage the export of merchandise from a customs perspective. The software allows for the telematic management of all customs information for merchandise leaving the Port of Venice. Port operators involved in the export cycle (shipping agents, shipping agencies, terminal operators) will be able to obtain information needed to complete the forms and documents required for shipping the merchandise. The software, designed by colleagues in the Knowledge Systems Engineering Division (engineers Telaroli, Apollonio, and Squillante, and Dr. Lupatini), complies with European Community requirements pertaining to the digitalization of customs information (eCustoms Project).
