Thetis becomes greener…
Thetis will take part in the Green Light for Business event with a presentation drafted by the brand new Energy division.
The first edition of the Confrence Green Light For Business 2010 was inaugurated on 22nd February 2010 at the Bocconi University. Result of an idea of a group of students from Bocconi University, their aim is to turn the conference into an essential appointment for all those interested in the topic of business and in sustainability within the academic, corporate and cultural fields. The programme for this event, sponsored by Bocconi University along with the Rappresentanza di Milano della Comunità Europea (EU Representation in Milan), the Italian Ministry of Youth, Rome Town Council, the Norwegian Embassy, the U.S. Consulate General, the British Consulate General, and the American and British Chambers of Commerce, is in keeping with the work of Thetis, and especially that of the Energy Unit which decided to take part with a report presented by engineer Mauro Roglieri.
The Thetis presentation, planned for Wednesday afternoon, will provide a general overview of the business opportunities linked to energetic and climatic sustainability, and promote the “Carbon Reduction Programme”, devoted to university institutes and research centres. The general aim of the Conference, one which is fully-backed by Thetis with enormous interest, is that of dealing with environmental problems and challenges in various ways and methods, in order to arouse interest in and inspire new models of sustainable business. This occasion will provide Thetis with an opportunity to build and consolidate relationships with representatives from the world of politics, the academic sphere and leading figures involved in the current climatic events, who will present their personal experiences and beliefs, hence providing the audience with interesting topics for debate and upon which to reflect.
