Thetis to take part in the "New Frontiers of International Business" conference
The CEO of Thetis, Antonio Paruzzolo, will speak at the Laguna Palace conference hall in Mestre on Thursday, 7th May during the “New Frontiers of International Business” (Emerging Research Frontiers in International Business ) conference, providing a report on Thetis’ experiences in China.
The Veneto Foreign Trade Centre has initiated a structured economic promotion project – part of the joint Veneto Region Convention / Italian Institute for Foreign Trade programme – in cooperation with the regional Chambers of Commerce and Confindustria Veneto, and with the technical-scientific support of VEGA – Venice Gateway for Science and Technology, to be presented at the Conference.
In the space of just a few years, an increasingly globalised world has found itself having to rethink its economic growth priorities to face (without distinguishing between developed and emerging economies) a new common challenge: combining growth with sustainable development in terms of resources and the environment.
New business opportunities are arising through this awareness, which is a common thread in the recent political trends in many countries. These opportunities are appearing in industrialised countries, which have already been studying and implementing new policies on sustainable development for some time, as well as emerging countries, which have had to deal with the same problems, often in a far more dramatic way, within a shorter time span. The conference aims to provide an occasion for companies that have identified new business opportunities and promotional activities in China, Japan, the Balkans, India, Canada, Brazil and Argentina to meet and compare ideas.
