Thetis to use the services offered by the scientific library at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice
Following an agreement drawn up between the Parco Scientifico e Tecnologico di Venezia (VEGA - Venice Gateway for Science and Technology) and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Thetis SpA, together with a number of other companies, is now able to utilise the services offered by the university’s scientific library. Thetis SpA’s “knowledge management” office which promotes the exchange of scientific knowledge organised this.
The agreement means that Thetis can access the special university services coordinated by Ms. Marisol Occioni, Manageress of the Scientific Library. Said services include the provision of documents both electronically (publications in electronic format, etc.) and physically (via fax); access to the library for special consultancy purposes; research using bibliographical data banks and updated scientific documents; specialised bibliographical consultancy; purchases of books and scientific articles through the internet.
The experimental phase of the project will end in June 2005.
The effective interest in this offer will then be assessed.
