Thetis will have a stand at Ecomondo in Rimini, 28-31 October, 2009
As part of “Sustainable City”, an exhibition of international projects within the 2009 ECOMONDO Environment and Sustainable Development Fair, Thetis will present a series of projects relating to sustainable mobility.
The following projects will be presented: the AVM System for monitoring Bologna’s bus fleet; CVIS (Cooperative Vehicle-Infrastructure Systems); the FREILOT Pilot Project, co-financed by the European Community; and ITS-TAP: Public Transport Management, a system for monitoring air quality and controlling access to central Beijing.
The exhibition will present the most representative aspects of the LIVEABLE city – good practices and innovative strategies for sustainable planning (sustainable mobility, construction, industry, environmental improvement, energy and renewable sources, educational models). As part of the “Getting About in the City: Operational Prospects and Alternative Transportation Models” workshop on Friday, 30 October, 2009, Luca Masnata and Paolo Campello from the Intelligent Transport Systems Engineering Division will discuss Thetis’ experiences.
