Trainees for the Works Management Division at Thetis SpA
As of 4th July, 6 trainees from the WORKS MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT FOR THE BUILDING SECTOR course will be working at Thetis. The course was devised by Work Training Agency AGFOL thanks to funding provided by the European Social Fund.
The course lasts 884 hours, and its aim is to train a technical figure able to monitor and control building site works from the technical, quality, accountancy and administration points of view, in full respect of the project and in conformity with the contract obligations. During the two months training period, the six people involved, most of whom are surveyors awaiting a job, will be flanked by staff from Thetis. Said staff will provide the course participants with useful knowledge both about managing the processes which govern the company and the specific skills of the Works Management Unit.
Moreover, the trainees will interact weekly with the Knowledge Management Service which made the training period possible. Said service will monitor the work being carried out, act as a link between company, teachers and those in charge of the project and organise short internal training meetings aimed at increasing the awareness of corporate regulations and hygiene and safety standards.
