After China, Thetis heads to India to help prepare for the 2010 Commonwealth Games
As part of an Indian-Italian Cooperation Programme between the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and the Indian Ministry of Urban Development designed to promote sustainable mobility in Indian cities, Thetis SpA will use the experience it has gained in Italy and China to conduct an air quality and mobility management study in preparation for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

As part of a Chinese-Italian Cooperation Programme supported by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, Thetis, a Venice-based engineering company specializing in the environment and Intelligent Transport Systems, and ATAC, Rome's Mobility Agency, have signed a 3.5 million Euro contract with the Chinese holding company BPT (Beijing Public Transport) for the GPS monitoring of the more than 2,000 buses that will be used for special bus lines during the Beijing Olympics.

Thetis S.p.A., a Venice-based company specializing in environmental engineering and intelligent transport systems, will continue its work in China with the new IBOCS (Intelligent Bus Operation Control System) project, which will provide GPS monitoring of the more than 2,000 buses in service on the special Beijing Olympics bus lines.
