The activity concerns the design of three confined disposal facilities (CDF’s) in the Lagoon of Marano and Grado. The facilities aim at storing sediments that have to be dredged from the Lagoon waterways and the Corno river to maintain the navigation security.
The activity is carried out by Thetis in association with Studio Altieri engineering company.
More specifically, Thetis activities include:
- designing of:
- overall solution for CDF’s construction and management;
- hydraulic facilities, landscape recovery;
- urban planning, hydrological and hydrogeological aspects;
- drafting of the technical documentation relating to environmental and archeological permitting:
- Environmental Impact Studies
- Assessment of Plans and Projects Significantly Affecting Natura 2000 Sites reports
- Archaeological Reports (ex Law no. 109 of 25 June, 2005)
- landscape Reports
- support to the Client:
- during the preliminary phase of project activities in order to analyze environmental issues and consequently identify the right permitting process
- during project permitting phase (i.e. Environmental Impact Assessment, Landscape and Archaeological Authorization) in the public discussion with all concerned authorities (local, regional and national).
