With the support of OICE, an Italian association of engineering and consulting companies committed to supporting the internationalization of businesses, Thetis and Net Engineering discerned the municipality of Tbilisi’s need to develop guidelines for a sustainable urban mobility plan and involved Italian experts from the mobility-related ITS technologies and planning sector in the project. The team of experts from Thetis and Net Engineering worked in close collaboration with technicians from the City of Tbilisi’s transport division, who were interested in learning about and implementing transport schemes and technological solutions that are based on European best practices.The following activities were conducted for the project:
-Analysis of the existing transport system;
-Determination of sustainable mobility solutions;
-Establishment of guidelines for sustainable urban mobility management;
-Proposals for pilot projects.
