  • STATO POETICO by Marco Nereo Rotelli

    “Lo Stato Poetico” is a special exhibition at the Venice Biennale’s Italian Pavilion celebrating the 150th ANNIVERSARY of ITALIAN UNIFICATION. The exhibition, which opened on 3 June and can be visited at the Spazio Thetis garden until 27 November, features works by the sculptor Rotelli.

  • Spazio Thetis: a third installation by Renato Meneghetti is on display

    As part of a special Italian Pavilion initiative to celebrate 150 Years of Italian Unity at the 54th International Art Exhibition and as a follow up to “SOTTOPELLE” at Tesa 99 (former shipyard building) in the Arsenale Novissimo and “IL CRISTO MORTO DEL MANTEGNA” at the Italian Pavilion in the Arsenal, a third installation by Renato Meneghetti entitled “La Bugia – Anche gli Elefanti Hanno il Naso Lungo” (The Lie – Even Elephants Have Long Noses), organized by Alberto Bartalini, has been completed and is on display.

  • Pavilion of Belarus Republic: Project Kodex

    The objective of Kodex is to introduce contemporary Belorussian art to the public and bring it into contact with the current international scene.
    The curator, Mikhail Borazna, selected five artists (each of whom contributed four works) to create a coherent, multiform contemporary art project.
    The five artists are: Alisevich Yury, Artur Klinau, Kanstantsin Kastsiuchenka, Viktar Piatrou and Dzianis Skvartsou.
    The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Belarus, the Belorussian Museum of Arts and Academy of Arts, and Spazio Thetis.
