As part of a special Italian Pavilion initiative to celebrate 150 Years of Italian Unity at the 54th International Art Exhibition and as a follow up to “SOTTOPELLE” at Tesa 99 (former shipyard building) in the Arsenale Novissimo and “IL CRISTO MORTO DEL MANTEGNA” at the Italian Pavilion in the Arsenal, a third installation by Renato Meneghetti entitled “La Bugia – Anche gli Elefanti Hanno il Naso Lungo” (The Lie – Even Elephants Have Long Noses), organized by Alberto Bartalini, has been completed and is on display.
The installation is on exhibit in Tesa 101-102 (Arsenale Novissimo, headquarters of the National Research Council – Institute of Marine Sciences with access from Spazio Thetis) until 27 November 2011.This artistic event was made possible by collaboration between Thetis and the National Research Council – Institute of Marine Sciences.
