Thetis and the GEMAR Project

The objective of the GEMAR Project is to research, develop and produce an electric generator driven by submarine currents. The project is co-financed by the Veneto Region under Regional Law no. 9/2007 – “Notification of the granting of subsidies to support industrial research, experimental development, innovation and the promotion of technology transfer. (Regional Council Decision no. 4222/2008)”.
Thetis introduces the SSD-MTB 1.0 Decision-making Support System

On 24 October 2011, SSD-MTB 1.0 – the Thetis Base Module 1.0 Decision-making Support System – made its debut just in time for the first high water events of the autumn season.

The Topic Centre on Climate Change impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation (ETC/CCA) of the European Environment Agency (EEA), run for the three year period 2011-2013 by an international consortium of research bodies including Thetis, has published its first technical report, "Methods for assessing coastal vulnerability to climate change".
Thetis contributes its expertise to ARTEMIS transport project

Thetis participated in an ARTEMIS Project meeting in Tarragona, Spain, on 29-30 September. Other participants included project partners (companies specializing in the sector from Spain, France and Slovenia), as well as Spanish government authorities and operators in the sector.
