Venice Shanghai World EXPO 2010: presentation of the Venetian project

Mayor of Venice and Chairman of the Expo Venice Commission, Massimo Cacciari, and Councillor for Venice Town Council and Managing Director of the Expo Venice Commission Laura Fincato, will present the project for taking part at the Shanghai event, at the Auditorium Laurentianum, Piazza Ferretto - Mestre, on Tuesday, 13th October, at 5.30 p.m..

During the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the UN climate change organization that created the Kyoto Protocol) summit held in Venice on 17 July, 2009, the Venice International University (VIU) presented the volume “Sustainable Development and Environmental Management – Experiences and Case Studies” during a round table discussion that included presentations by numerous international experts, which was attended by Dr. Corrado Clini, the Director General of the Ministry of the Environment.
