Thetis Participates in the "CIEPEC - China International Environmental Protection Exhibition

For the third time, Thetis participated, with its own space inside the Italian Pavilion, in the event “CIEPEC - China International Environmental Protection Exhibition & Conference”, the most important Chinese event in the sector; this biannual event was held from 3-6 June, 2009, at the “CIEC – China International Exhibition Centre” in Beijing.

Nell’ambito del progetto di ricerca europeo CVIS (Cooperative Vehicle – Infrastructure Systems), finalizzato ad aumentare la sicurezza sulle strade e lo scorrimento del traffico attraverso l’uso di sistemi cooperativi che mettono in comunicazione veicoli ed infrastrutture, Thetis ha partecipato allo sviluppo dell’applicazione di un sistema innovativo per la gestione dinamica delle aree di parcheggio destinate ai mezzi per il trasporto di merci (Parking Zone application).
Thetis Participates in the 40th Italian Society of Marine Biology Conference

Thetis participated in the annual conference of the Italian Society of Marine Biology (ISMB), held in Livorno from 26-29 May. One of the conference’s primary themes was the identification of potential marine SCI (Sites of Community Importance) sites to add to the Natura 2000 Network.
Thetis Prepares for the MoTechEco Sustainable Mobility Exhibition

On 14 May, 2009, Thetis will participate in MoTechEco in Rome, the most important sustainable mobility event in Europe. Once again this year, the City of Rome is offering significant support to the organization of the event, which will deal with the issue of “Saving Energy” and bring together the government, regional administrators and European agencies to offer a great number of solutions and clarifications on the issue of road networks and the environment.
Thetis’ Involvement in the FREILOT Project

On 23 April Thetis was in Brussels to attend the start of FREILOT, a pilot project for energy efficient urban transport co-financed by the European Community; the project involves companies that provide technologies and services, as well as representatives of local authorities, transport agencies and companies that have fleets of vehicles for transporting merchandise originating from throughout Europe.
