Design and supply of on-board systems and a radio communications system for the 170 urban and suburban public transport buses in Parma and a depot automation system.The on-board systems provide monitoring of the service and voice and data communications with the client's operations centre via a VHF radio system. A Wireless LAN system at the depots ensures loading on-board of planned service data and downloading of daily log data, as well as loading of software updates. Ten vehicles are also equipped with audio announcement of the next stop and passenger counters.
The depot management system allocates parking slots and localises each bus in the parking area. Joint venture Thetis (prime contractor) with Maser Srl.
