Taking measurements, through intensive sampling campaigns and automatic systems, of the 8 principal hydraulic nodes of the Venice Lagoon, northern, central and southern lagoon and in the sea, aimed at the acquisition of data on the temperature, salinity, turbidity, level, direction and speed of the current, wave motion and wind. The collected data will be used to calibrate the DELFT two and three-dimensional curvilinear grid hydrodynamic model, and the modules connected to it, for the study of the dispersion of preservative compounds (dispersion model) and morphological aspects (morphological model) adopted to improve the simulation of the exchange processes at the lagoon drainage and the mouths of the port, the consequent dispersion of pollutants and the exchange of sediment between the bottom, the canals and the sea.
