A study for the finalisation of the methods and procedures aimed at characterising the condition of the banks of the "insule" (the blocks of houses) of the historical centre of Venice. The data produced will assist with the planning of the exceptional maintenance of the canals and of the banks.
- altimetric, bathymetric and topographical survey of the waterways and the adjacent public areas;
- metric, photographic and physical survey of the public facilities;
- classification of the private buildings jutting out of the waterways to register the condition of the foundations and the facades;
- geognostic surveys;
- archaeological characterisation;
- survey of the sub-services;
- identifying and monitoring in progress of the risk situations connected with carrying out the operations.
The aim of the task includes the implementation of the following activities:
- topographical survey of the insula of San Giacomo dell’Orio;
- survey of the public structures;
- survey of the condition of private buildings;
- geognostic surveys;
- survey of sub-services;
- survey of character.
