Drafting of the technical documentation relating to the authorization process for the projects included in the “Framework Agreement for the Management of Sediments Dredged from the Large Navigation Channels and the Environmental, Landscape, Hydraulic and Road Improvements for the Venice-Malcontenta-Marghera Area” (known as the “Vallone Moranzani” Framework Agreement).In brief, the agreement provides for:
- the management of dredging sludge containing sediments that “exceed the column C limits” in the 1993 Protocol of Agreement, as well as materials originating from the excavations at the Porto Marghera Site of National Interest,
- recovering the use of areas that are seriously compromised by physical deterioration, flood risk and sanitation, road and landscape issues, thereby improving the urban environment, infrastructure, and usability of the zone and public green spaces.
- drafting Environmental Impact Studies (EISs) for the “Vallone Moranzani” Framework Agreement interventions; drafting Assessment of Plans and Projects Significantly Affecting Natura 2000 Sites reports for the agreement’s interventions that directly and/or indirectly involve Natura 2000 Network Sites; and drafting Landscape Reports for the construction of a landfill in the Vallone Moranzani area;
- organization of the Integrated Environmental Authorization documentation for the projects relating to the waste disposal plants provided for in the agreement;
- drafting of Archaeological Reports in connection with the preliminary and final planning, former Law no. 109 of 25 June 2005;
- support for the applicant (Delegate Commissioner for the Environmental, Social and Economic Emergency for the Large Shipping Port Channels of the Venice Lagoon) during the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Integrated Environmental Authorization, Landscape and Archaeological Authorization procedures. More specifically, the activities include:
- drafting the Environmental Impact Studies (EISs) for the “Vallone Moranzani” Framework Agreement interventions; drafting the Assessment of Plans and Projects Significantly Affecting Natura 2000 Sites reports for the agreement’s interventions that directly and/or indirectly involve Natura 2000 Network Sites; and drafting Landscape Reports for the construction of a landfill in the Vallone Moranzani area;
