Integrated services for environmental monitoring and control.The laboratory’s organization and equipment allow for management of all the monitoring phases, including planning, operational/logistical organization, taking samples and performing analyses, as well as managing, processing and interpreting data.
These analyses are performed on liquid matrices (monitoring sea/lagoon/river water), solid matrices (studies of sediments/soils) and gas matrices (air monitoring).
The laboratory performs chemical, chemicophysical, microbiological and ecotoxicological analyses for the company and also for third parties.
With respect to chemical analyses, the laboratory can perform analyses of parameters relating to nutrients and heavy metals in both liquid (wastewater, surface water and groundwater) and solid (sediments, soils) matrices.
Ecotoxicological assays relating to sea/brackish water and fresh water can be conducted on organisms of various biological complexities, from bacteria to fish. This division, which is undergoing continual development, recently obtained SINAL (Sistema Nazionale di Accreditamento dei Laboratori, the National System for Accreditation of Laboratories) accreditation for many of the assays it performs; for a few of these assays, this is the first and only accredited laboratory in Italy.
The laboratory has been accredited since 2001, in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025 regulations with SINAL certificate no. 0366.
