Technical assistance provided for the Venice Biennale involved the following aspects in particular:- checking and monitoring of the recovery and adaptation of the buildings used by the Authority/Board for its institutional activities;
- services of Facility management;
- assistance for the System of Supervision and Control of the Surveillance for the buildings aimed at hosting the displays of the Board/Authority;
In May 2002 Thetis plc and the Biennial Exhibition of Venice created Tese plc, with the primary aim of managing the necessary technical logistics for the Cultural Association of the Biennial Exhibition of Venice to carry out their institutional tasks.
The contract was awarded to the Joint Venture consisting of Thetis (prime contractor), Palomar and CH2MHill.
