Drafting of the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) and the Assessment of Plans and Projects Significantly Affecting Natura 2000 Sites for the final plans for a new thermoelectric cogeneration power plant and related works (gas and power lines) planned in the eastern portion of the “Nuovo Petrolchimico” area in Porto Marghera, which will replace the existing Polimeri Europa plant.Specifically, the planned activities include:
- analysis of the current condition and impacts, focusing particularly on atmospheric and noise pollution, for which specific modelling analyses were developed;
- assisting the client during the investigation process and the national Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) procedure, ex Legislative Decree 04/2008;
- drafting of the Assessment of Plans and Projects Significantly Affecting Natura 2000 Sites, according to the guidelines in the Habitat Directive 92/43 EEC, as the area of interest is located near Natura 2000 Network sites.
