Design and creation of the following components for the fleet monitoring system:- front end hardware for GSM/GPRS communication with the vehicles,
- on-board hardware and software for urban buses (approximately 400)
- on-board software for suburban buses (approximately 550)
- integration with Tetra radio network. The on-board equipment furnished has several functions, including:
- real time localization with GPS and odometer,
- comparison with the scheduled service and calculation of early/late arrival,
- announcement of the next stop,
- indication of shift number machine,
- management of calls (individual, group and emergency),
- management of text messages and coded messages,
- management of alarms,
- video surveillance of the driver’s seat in case of emergency, with on-board recording and real time transmission of the images to the operations centre,
- diagnostics and configuration,
- remote updating of new scheduling.
