Supervision of both the works and relative support services for building four mobile floodgate systems situated in the vicinity of the inlets of Venice lagoon (Lido, Malamocco and Chioggia) as part of the work to safeguard Venice and its lagoon. The services comprise all those activities necessary for supervising the works and carrying out technical-accounting controls.In more details, this includes:
- supervision of the works;
- assistance and checks to ensure the work is being carried out correctly, measurements and surveys carried out in cross examination, materials and laboratory quality control;
- works accountancy;
- logistic and functional support.
The overall value of the works is 2,300 million Euros.
The contract has been assigned to ATI C. Lotti & Associati SpA - Thetis SpA.
In the third part, the alternatives are examined in relation to economic, social and environmental criteria etc. and the most appropriate plan of action is identified for the decision-making bodies concerned.
