Thetis will attend the annual European Congress on ITS – Intelligent Transport System, the leading European event on technology for transport and the cities. This year the congress will be held in Helsinki from 16-19 June 2014. The theme of the Congress is “ITS in your pocket – proven solutions driving user services”.
The Congress is organized by ERTICO , the ITS association in Europe based in Brussels where Thetis is one of the main active members.
The theme of the Congress is “ITS in your pocket – proven solutions driving user services”. The Congress will focus on the way ITS solutions are rapidly moving from research and development to become widely available and easily usable consumer products and personalized services.
Mr Redi, CEO of Thetis has been invited to the “Executive session – Productivity of transport and logistics systems”, one of the most important session of the congress. Focus will be on how to improve the productivity of transport. A discussion will take place with representative of the European Commission and other relevant companies active in the field of European transport and ITS (such as PTV and CUBIC ). A specific contribution will be provided on new integrated public transport solution and sustainable mobility solution for cities, especially looking at the last positive experiences in Copenhagen.
