From Monday 3rd to Wednesday, December 5th, 2012, Thetis will participate with its own stand and two reports in different sessions, to the important National Conference on “The New World. States-General of ITS for mobility management in Italy. The supply and demand meet” to be held in Bologna at the Savoia Regency Hotel. The central theme of the conference will be the proposed National Plan on ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) developed by TTS Italy in collaboration with leading industry associations and, in particular, with regard to payment systems and technologies of the LPT, with CLUB ITALY Contactles Users Board. The conference now in its second edition will have major institutional participants (Ministry of Transport, Emilia Romagna Region, the Municipality of Bologna), associations, local authorities and public transport companies, as well as exhibitions and speeches by national and international operators. The two Roundtables scheduled for December 3rd and 4th will be just the opportunity to discuss the new scenarios and opportunities offered by the implementation of the Directive on ITS and its National Plan on ITS, especially with regard to its publication, which took place on 18 October , 2012, on the Official Gazette of the Development Decree Bis that, under Article 8, implements the ITS Directive 2010/40/EU. The interventions of Thetis were placed in two different sessions: • In the first session dedicated to “Best intelligences ITS for smart cities of today and tomorrow”, on December 3rd, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm Eng. Paolo Squillante will speak with the following report: “Smart information-infomobility solutions integrated with the TPL-local public transport and traffic control-best case. ” • In the 7 session, dedicated to the “Green Mobility in Smart Cities”, on December 4th from 3.30pm Eng. Paolo Campello will speak with a report entitled “Techniques and ITS technologies for Green Mobility-best case.”
