“Antonio Ievolella’s Cor-ten iron installation, ‘Paranza,’ is a wreckage of a boat that was insignificant in itself even when it was at sea, nothing more than a means used countless times. But it was bread and life for the fishermen’s families, and here the sculptor turns it into a work of art, regenerating its shape. Evoking its structure, he elevates that wreck to a monument, full of memories, suggestions and warnings.
