Thetis was recently commissioned by SAVE S.p.A to carry out 4 environmental monitoring activities relating to the positive conclusion of the VIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) procedure of the 2021 MasterPlan of Venice Marco Polo Airport. The activities concern the “ante operam” phase and include the monitoring of water quality in the area in front of the airport and of the aquifer present in the airport subsoil.
In addition, Thetis’ intervention involves monitoring the habitat and species of flora and fauna and the modeling analysis of the impact on air quality one of the most significant construction sites, in terms of duration and size, among those envisaged for the realization of the interventions of the aforementioned MasterPlan.
All activities also include the processing of collected data and the drafting of appropriate documentation.
