Thetis S.p.a., active in the Works Management of the MOSE system and the connected lagoon works to safeguard the Venice lagoon, is looking for a construction site inspector with at least 2 years of experience. Required training and specialized professional skills for the following fields of application: technological systems and installations, civil and electromechanical works, environmental and architectural protection.
A bachelor’s degree in science or a surveyor diploma is required:
The main duties of the Construction Site Inspector are:
- control of the activities of the contractors and related subcontractors;
- verification of documents relating to the supply of materials, in agreement with the Quality Control Office where and when deemed necessary;
- verification, before implementation, of the suitability and state of conservation of materials/machines/equipment and systems;
- detailed control of the compliance of the works performed with the project documents and with the contractual technical specifications;
- preparation of accounting documents, execution of measurements, preparation of lists in economics;
- accounting reporting of the work carried out by third-party companies;
- drafting of the work journal;
- preparation of weekly lists of personnel present on site and sample verification of the compliance of the workers’ data with what was declared by the companies (registration book verification, UNILAV verification, etc.);
- assistance to the Security Coordinator during Execution (CSE);
- timely reporting to the CSE and to the Operations Manager of obvious risk/danger situations identified on site.

Type of contract: fixed-term employment or collaboration contract.
