- Analysis of the presence and potential development of multi-use actions in the marine space in Europe, by involving a wide arena of local stakeholders and contributing to the publication of the “Ocean Multi-Use Action Plan” (Horizon 2020 Project MUSES, 2016-2018).
- Analysis of the impacts of maritime transport on Mediterranean marine protected areas and possible management measures, through the development of case studies and the proposal of recommendations for stakeholders (Interreg-MED PHAROS4MPAs project, 2017-2019).
- Focal point for the eastern Mediterranean basin within the framework of the European MSP platform, financed by the European Commission (DG MARE). The platform is a tool for sharing knowledge and experience to support member states in the implementation of the European Directive on maritime spatial planning.

- Various consultancy services for PAP/RAC (Priority Actions Programme/ Regional Activity Centre), the reference center of the UNEP/MAP (UN Environmental Programme/Mediterranean Action Plan) which operates within the framework of the Barcelona Convention for the protection of the environment marine and coastal strip of the Mediterranean. Specifically, Thetis contributed to the construction of the Mediterranean MSP workspace, a shared workspace that allows for the access to information and operational tools to support marine and coastal planning.
