ON 13-14 OCTOBER 2013, EMILIANO RAMIERI FROM THETIS IN SPLIT WIL HELD LECTURES ON MARITIME SPATIAL PLANNING WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE

BostonOn 13-14 October 2013 Emiliano Ramieri from Thetis will held lectures on Maritime Spatial Planning within the international training course “Mainstreaming marine biodiversity into coastal management in the Aqaba special economic zone”. The course will be held in Split at the headquarter of the UNEP-MAP Regional Activity Centre (PAP/RAC) dealing with Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM). The training will be aimed at Jordan officials and practitioners involved in the sustainable management of Aqaba costal and marine area. Emiliano Ramieri will illustrate MSP approaches and methodologies, as well as practical experiences implemented in the Adriatic Sea by the EU-funded Shape project and in other contexts as: Baltic Sea, North Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
