The activities included the development and coupling
of two models: a wave propagation model and a bidimensional
hydrodynamic model for the representation
of the currents induced by sea storms in the study area.
Both models were set up using
the DHI Mike 21 platform.
Models were used to realise wave and current
simulations supporting the optimization of the design of
breakwaters protecting the water space of Santa Teresa
and to verify the configuration of the designed marina.
